Twitter Not Working on Vodafone Network

Recently Vodafone announced that the Twitter would be available free of charge in Vodafone networks given the usage only on default browser and official android app. Since the announcement many users are complaining that twitter doesn't get opened on their smartphones whether they have data pack activated or not. I am a regular Vodafone 3G user as it provides the best speed and the signal strength is quite good at my location. Unfortunately, I suffered this problem too. I can download a song, play a YouTube video, check emails but wasn't able to use Twitter on my mobile. I tried reinstalling and different twitter apps but the result was same.
